I had to get some more pictures posted from Adam's ten day long birthday surprise party. Everyone is long gone and we have settled back into normal life. And I saw that Fort Nelson is under a 'do not travel/extreme snowfall warning'. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
OK, just a little less than charitable of me but I do think it's pretty funny!
OK..OK. I've wiped the tears from my eyes and caught my breath again. Chuckle, chuckle, snort! Alright, I'm good!

After Placencia we all came back to our place for a few more days. It was a few days of sightseeing, hanging out, and visiting. And we even got in a day cave tubing. With all the rain that we had during the last wet season, we haven't been tubing for quite a few months. The river was often flooded. This wasn't the first time tubing for anyone in our group but it was fun none the less, and it was a great way to spend a hot day.
And then it was time for Victor, Sheri and Ken to start the trip home. They had a rental truck so we didn't have to take them to the airport. I have to say that it felt kind of strange saying goodbye in our driveway but it felt kind of nice not having to drive to the city!
Thank you all so much for making this a birthday that Adam won't forget. It's a pretty big deal to have pulled off a surprise like this. So Ken, Wendy, Victor and Sheri, my thoughts are with you all.
