Adam gets to play on the jet-ski
Today's big plan was to try out Donna's new BBQ. Adam was elected to be the chef and as usual he did an amazing job. The food was enjoyed by all. Good friend Anne, came over with her daughter, Pauline. They are from Belgium. I sometimes think about how small our world was before and how it has opened up so much. Everywhere that we go now the world is represented like a mini United Nations. Very cool!
Today is Pauline's 9th birthday. Of course, I can't help but think about Ashley Regner. It's also her birthday today and Larissa's is just a few days away. Can't believe my girls are 20 years old. Nothing will get tears in my eyes like thinking about how much I love those girls and admire their friendship over the years. OK....enough drippy stuff!
OK, a little more drippy stuff...we went swimming in the lagoon (lake) today. Adam got out on a jet-ski. He is much braver than me. I floated close to shore in a tube! We kept one person on croc watch...yah, really! Crocs don't frequent this lagoon 'much' but we still kept an eye out! We were out at Progresso lagoon yesterday and we did see a croc in the water. Just a little one...about 3ft long!
