We're back home now. No doubt that a few days away is nice but home is always the best. The dogs were crazy happy to see us. I'm sure that they were well taken care of but it's nice to know that they missed us!
The drive back was uneventful. Always a good thing. We stopped for a swim at the Blue Hole. The swimming hole, or cenote, is a collapsed cave with an underground river running into it. As far as I know, it's the only place in Belize that you can really cool off and still be outside. The water is crisp (by Central American standards!). Larissa and I did a hike before the swim. About a mile up and down the hillside in the jungle. It was great. I've done it once before and really enjoyed it so it was great to go again. And it makes the swim so much more appreciated at the end! Adam opted out of the hike. He drove the truck ahead to meet us and then joined us for the swim.

I mentioned before that Adam and Larissa rented a dive camera. Well, here are some of the pics. Visibility wasn't the best but I think they did pretty well. This was their first dive at South Water Caye.
