We met up with a local real estate agent yesterday. Very nice lady called Eleanor. She showed us quite a few homes and lots in the Corozal area. One thing amazed me about the homes. So many of them don't have anyone living in them and they are just falling apart. Most of them belong to North Americans that purchased or built and then plans changed and they are stuck with the houses. But why don't they make efforts to maintain them? We're not looking to buy another persons problems. Having said that, we are leaning more toward building. We've met a couple local builders and casually asked about the process. Well see. Right now we are in the information gathering stage.
Today was over 90F again. Everyone tells us that this is good practice for when it gets really hot! We're going to die!!
Big excitement today was a snake in the yard. One of the dogs was 'playing' with it. I think the dog was having more fun than the snake! Adam went out and put the snake out of it's misery. Snoop, the dog, seemed pretty proud of herself! The snake had a shiny green body with a very blue head and it was about 30" long. Not sure what it is but we know that it's not one of the 'eight poisonous snakes of Belize'. That's good news!
