First off, I have to apologize for the format changes in my blog. Weebly (the blogsite) made some changes last month. I thought that I would try them out. I think it was a combination of their changes suck and I picked the wrong options! Anyway, somethings didn't work very well for my June postings so I'm giving up on June early (it's only the 28th) and I'm moving on to July! This should take me back into familiar territory.
Great progress on the pool and patio this week. We kept Byron, Julio and Irving working most of the week. Adam and I have been working along side them, too. And I am so happy with how things are turning out! All the pavers are down. Now, we are down to cutting the last two edges, adding a cement border, and then sealing! Cutting the pavers is tedious work so we gave the guys the day off today so that we could catch up. After morning coffee (and blog time!) we'll get right to it!

It's also a day for 'other stuff' catch up. We've been so focussed on the pool that 'other stuff' is being neglected. Time to hit the market, the bakery, the butcher, the beer depot and the grocery store. The cupboards are looking pretty bare! Our food shopping certainly isn't 'one-stop'. The grocery stores do carry all the basics so, in a pinch, you could get everything there. But the best quality and selection comes from the places that specialize. We have a wonderful little bakery downtown that makes the best breads and buns. It is so worth going out of the way! We even go to one place for chicken and another for pork and beef. And, of course, market for the most incredible fruits and veggies! Hmmm....all this food talk. I must really need a shopping trip!
We also made arrangements this week to have our drinking water delivered. We buy our drinking water in 20L jugs. For the rest of the house, we collect rain water in two 3000gal tanks in the back. It's a pretty good system and the water is great. Very nice for skin and hair! But not clean enough to drink. So, we buy our drinking water and now it's being delivered right to the door! Whew! One more thing to help simplify our extremely busy lives (I'm kidding....most of the time!).
