On Friday I got my birthday and Mother's Day present rolled in to one. Larissa arrived! We started the day early to drive Ken and Wendy to Corozal. They spent the night there at the Almond Tree Inn and then took the bus the next day to Playa in Mexico. We had a nice and quick visit with Corozal. Adam drove immediately to his favourite fast food joint and ordered chicken burgers for all! Delish! Then we said our good- byes to Ken and Wendy. It was so nice seeing them. Missing family is the toughest part of this little adventure that we've taken on!
From Corozal we drove back to the airport Belize City and we found Larissa! Too bad she didn't get to cross paths with Ken and Wendy but it just didn't work out. So happy to see our beautiful little girl. And you can see from the picture that she's quickly settled in and learned how to refill the Belikin fridge! Daddy's little girl! Although she did find Mommy's Smirnoff fairly quickly, as well. Our little ones grow up so quickly!

The first few days of Larissa's visit have been fairly quiet. We had a bit of 'regular life' stuff to catch up on. But we do manage to find pool time everyday. It's practically essential! It's still hot (about 36c) and we aren't getting the rain yet. They call for it everyday in the weather forecast but still nothing.
