Well, I've been in Red Deer for almost two weeks already. Crazy how fast time is flying! It's great being back in Canada. I love the grocery stores. And I love the roads (hardly any speed bumps!). On the other hand, I don't love the cool, dry air. I don't love the price of restaurant food. And I don't love whatever is making my allergies really bad!
Last week was for reconnecting with family. Larissa, of course, my brother, Chris, my sister-in-law, Lynn and my Mom.

So far my highlight is getting to meet my new neice, Jordana, for the first time. She is so awesome! Chris and Lynn came by for a visit last week. My mom is also here from Parksville so we had a mini family reunion. Later in the week, we also made the drive to Calgary and spent the day at the Zoo. It was great. I have never seen so many babies and strollers in one place at one time! So wonderful to spend the whole day with Jordana and
Chris and Lynn and Mom. And I never get tired of the Zoo. I've been visiting it for all of my life. Of course, most everything is changed but it still stirs so many good memories. Well, maybe not all good...right, Chris?
