One last project to call finished before I head home. Shelves built in the garage...check! I have to say that tearing apart the crates that Adam built to store all the tools was a bigger job than building the new shelves. He planned for them to last! On the up side, I was able to use the wood from the old crates to make most of the new shelves. Now, Larissa will have a little Tackama plywood in her house forever! Seems fitting!
Last night we decided to try out the new fire pit. We gathered all the supplies for smores and gave it a go. I'm pleased to say that it works just fine! Larissa started a nice little 'city fire'. Kyle joined us and we had a great cookout. Well, we just had dessert over the fire. Dinner was on the BBQ. Still have to work on getting some weiner/marshmellow sticks. But we improvised and prevailed!
