It is my honour to officially award Cara with the prestigious "I Love Frogs" award. It was a tight year with great competition from all. Our close runner ups are Larissa and my Mom! Nice job, Ladies, but Cara is our winner. And as proof of her dedication to the little darlings, we have an amazing pic of three frogs lining up to say 'hi'. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that Cara blinded most of our frogs with her camera flash! Now, we see them hopping around with little white canes! It's very sad.
Rob and Cara are also friends with the local green iguana population at the San Ignacio Hotel. The last time that I visited these babies, they were so much smaller. Nice to see them growing up. They keep them at the habitat until they are about three years old. At that point, they are released into the wild where they will hopefully thrive and help to repopulate the species in the area. It's a great thing and the San Ignacio Hotel should be proud. And it's a lot of fun to visit!
Then we threw in a few days of hanging around the house and watching the pool being built and before we knew it it was time for Cara and Rob to head back home. So, so glad that they visited. It was wonderful to reconnect after so many years and find that true friends are always just that, true friends. We loved having you and you are welcome back anytime. And I know that the invitation goes the other way, too! It's just so damn cold up there!!!! But you just never know!

Cara took this picture in our yard. It's such a great perspective.
